Locations: Thrives in environments rich in starches, glue, and cellulose (paper). Attracted to the high humidity found in bathroom. Damp areas like under sinks or around pipes. Found in kitchens, particularly near food storage areas or in cabinets where starchy foods like grains and cereals are stored. Is a notorious pest in libraries, where it can damage books and documents.
