Locations: Lives and nests in open farmland and fields. Forages for nectar and pollen in agricultural areas with sunflowers and clovers. Can be found in both urban and suburban environments. Gardens, parks, and green spaces near flowering plants.

Locations: Found in both urban and suburban areas. Gardens, parks, farms, orchards, flower beds, window boxes, water sources (ponds, streams, birdbaths, puddles). Forages for nectar in meadows and forests.
