Name: 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘰𝘤𝘤𝘶𝘴 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘳𝘪

Size: ~1 to 4 mm

Characteristics: Soft body. Covered in flocculent, white, waxy threads. Varies in color from reddish-brown to pink to yellowish-green. Uses piercing-sucking mouthparts to feed on plant sap. Produces sticky honeydew as a byproduct of feeding.

Locations: Frequently infests indoor plants (houseplants and potted ornamentals). Can be found on the leaves, stems, and even in the soil of these plants. Thrives in greenhouse environments.
