Name: 𝘚𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘰𝘣𝘪𝘶𝘮 𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘶𝘮

Size: ~2.25 to 3.5 mm

Characteristics: Uniformly brown to reddish-brown in color. Has a cylindrical body shape. Has longitudinal rows of fine hairs on forewings.

Locations: Often found infesting stored food products such as flour, dry mixes, bread, cookies, chocolates, spices, and other packaged food items. Can infest food items stored in cupboards and cabinets, especially those containing grains, cereals, and other dry goods. May find its way into basements and attics where stored items like old books, wooden objects, or textiles are kept.
