Name: 𝘓𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘢 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘦

Size: ~2 to 3 mm

Characteristics: Small. Rounded, oval shape. Reddish-brown coloration. Has serrated antennae, resembling teeth of a saw. When disturbed, tends to pull in its legs, tuck its heads, and remain motionless.

Locations: Found near dried tobacco  (leaves, cigars, cigarettes, and chewing tobacco). Commonly encountered in homes, especially in kitchen cabinets, pantries, and other areas where stored food products are kept. Also infests flour, dry mixes, dried fruits, cereals, cocoa, coffee beans, herbs, spices, nuts, rice, and even non-food items such as dried plants, prescription drugs, and furniture stuffing.
