Cat Flea

Name: 𝘊𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘴

Size: ~1 to 3 mm

Characteristics: Reddish-brown to black. Wingless. Powerful hind legs. 

Locations: Most common flea in Florida. Found in and around homes with pets. Despite its name, a cat flea will still bite a dog.
