Characteristics:Β Medium-sized. Has leathery forewings. Hind wings are shorter than forewings. Cannot fly. Distinctive forelegs have two sharp claws.Β 

Locations: Coastal regions. Sandy soils, grassland, fields, verges, turf, and lawns.

Locations: Β Lives in shallow burrows in sandy soil. Causes damage to lawns, pastures, golf courses, and cultivated plants.
